As the Director of Quality and Innovation, I am always on the lookout for motivated and passionate likeminded people who want to help make ECH the best it can be for patient, carers, visitors, staff, volunteers, and the community who may need our support one day. I am in a good position within the organisation to take ideas back to the SMT and Trustee Board, to facilitate change or promote excellent practice. Joining the E&S group had enabled me to view sustainability from a different perspective, understanding that by spreading the word and taking action collectively we can all make little changes during our daily activities here at ECH, and in time this will not only help with the sustainability of our organisation but reduce our carbon foot print and protect the planet for our future generations.
