Recycling your ink cartridges
The Hospice receives essential funds from recycling used ink cartridges. If you have any at home, please bring them to the Hospice and help us raise some funds whilst recycling.
Energy Saving
Switching off all lights and electrical equipment when not in use.
Reduce Single Use
Please use your own water bottle or one of the glasses available rather than the disposable cups, likewise when using the coffee machine in reception.
Think before you print
We use thousands of sheets of A4 paper every year, some of this is unnecessary and we can signpost recipients to links where they can access the information they require.
All files should now be paperless and stored electronically.
Office plant
Not only do they look good but plants in your office help in lots of ways, like reducing stress and increasing productivity.
In the 1980’s, scientists at NASA discovered that plants were adept at removing chemicals such as benzene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde from the air, making it cleaner for humans to breath.
